Actaea
Against a dull grey sky, a pattern of cracks in the rocky surface form perfect hexagons — each exactly 30.5 yards in diameter. Towers of hard rock thrust from the surface, their six-sides chiselled perfectly. But this is no strange art installation or training ground… this is the natural landscape of Actaea III.

Amatheia
A spaceship moves carefully through an asteroid belt, finally locating its quarry. The tractor beam activates, and ship and rock move closer together. In the distance, the sun flickers, momentarily growing brighter before once again becoming dim…

Arethusa
From high above, we see a series of island archipelagos. Zooming into one of the islands, a great volcanic mountain dominates, with a wide verdant area of green around the mountaintop. Great white-sand beaches stretch out beyond, and the sea is a bright blue, calm and unwavering.

Autonoe
Tall, sharp-peaked mountains stand against a raging sea below. A beacon on a white tower reaches out into the sky. Above, a satellite hangs above the tower, watching and listening. A dozen other such facilities are scattered about the world, in constant contact with each other.

Beroe
A giant starship floats between the rocks of a massive asteroid belt. Its sensors are active, its weapons hot. But is it hunter or prey?

Clymene
Tall plinths of stone stand on a barren field, each reaching towards the sky. Untranslatable symbols are carved into their sides, telling a story of long-dead people.

Creneis
A lush jungle landscape gives way to a series of homes and farmlands. Further towards the sea, a starport looms above everything else. Clustered around the port are a series of warehouses, trade stations, bars and other establishments designed to cater to the bored spacer.

Cymothoe
Cold black space, with a single spot brighter than any others, and emptiness all around..

Dynamene

Eione
A group of spacesuited figures toil on a piece of equipment, while a bright orange star dominates the empty sky. Inside the suits, the workers sweat… if exposed to the stellar forces directly they would not even survive a few seconds.

Eumolpe
A starship comes into view, but it is nothing like any starship yet seen. It is ancient, a product of a forgotten generation, long ago. But sensors still read some power left in its systems, something is still alive over there…

Galatea
Navigation search commencing… Galatea System, Nereid Sector: Code Red Interdiction! Do not plot a course through this system, even under extreme duress. Iaera
Shining steel domes reflect a bright sun overhead. Perfectly smooth, they are unmarred by the countless years… invisible force fields have turned aside every meteorite and other unwanted visitor. There is no atmosphere here, but the inhabitants of the domes don’t need to breathe…

Ione
A brightly lit purple wheel hangs in the sky over a dull red gas giant, a train of silver ice encircling it like a crown. Ships move to and fro, taking on fuel and passengers before shoving off into the black of space…

Ligea
WARNING: The Ligea System is under a Yellow Interdiction and Ligea II has been declared an Exclusion Zone. Do not attempt to land on Ligea II and make refuelling stops in the outer system only in the case of emergencies.

Lycorias
The descent gear stretches over the opening, a strong beam suspended on shocks to absorb the regular shaking of the ground. A team descends, paying careful attention to their equipment… long range sensors indicated that there was some piece of alien technology here to recover, but it’s a matter of time before another quake collapses this cavern, and the team doesn’t want to be here when that happens.

Maera
A gas giant is surrounded by a ring of crackling nebulous energy. Deep within the field, there’s a moon, glowing with the energy of the Vortex…

Menippe
The survey vehicle races within the stampeding herd of giant omnivores, trying to avoid being stomped on. Overhead, giant bird-like creatures fly, suddenly diving down to stab their prey with their gigantic needle-like beaks. One dives towards the vehicle…

Opis
A dull red sun hangs almost motionless in the sky. It fills up almost a quarter of the sky, and only thick hazes that constantly swirl in the sky shield against its deceptively bright light.
